Reservations For 15 Please!?

December 17th  at 11:58 pm, I closed my laptop and stretched because I just turned in what was my last paper for the semester. Sunday morning I received a call saying that my help was needed for a wedding that morning. I had plans to relax and possibly throw my laptop over the balcony, but when beauty calls I move! I was told that I would be in charge of making sure that four ladies were gorgeous by 4 pm and the other artist, who was working with me that day, was in charge of five women. 

It was Now 3:30 and we are winding down when the amazing Made of Honor said: “ Ok I am sending six more down your way.” We both paused and said “huh?” The MOH explained to us that there was a miscommunication and needed our assistance until 6. 

I love moments that allow me to kick into high pageant mode! We were able to get everyone done gorgeously, and the bride was thrilled. The moral of this story is always be prepared and willing to work harder than expected! It was a great experience and I enjoyed getting back into the swing of things (beauty wise) after a long semester in school.
